Tipps zum Crash-to-Desktop-Problem
Trotz des letzten Patches von letzter Woche haben noch einige weiterhin mit dem Crash-to-Desktop-Problem zu kämpfen. David "Hasium" Gilbertson hat im offizielen Forum jetzt eine Hilfestellung zu dem Problem veröffentlicht. Nachfolgend der Orginal-Text:
Inweit dies hilft kann ich leider nicht sagen, aber ich denke ausprobieren kann wohl nicht schaden.

The vgclient.ini in your .../Vanguard/bin is the right file. Look for the tag:
[General]
It will be on a line by itself. There will be a bunch of settings formatted like this under [General]
Something=value
This section of my vgclient.ini starts like this, but yours may be a little different:
[General]
HideHood=False
HideHelm=False
UseSound=True
UseJoystick=False
ScreenshotFormat=JPG
Brightness=0.500000
Contrast=0.500000
Gamma=1.000000
ShowBloom=True
GrassDensity=0.500000
At the end of the [General] setting, you may see:
bUseEfficientTextures=False
If it is there, change it so that it says:
bUseEfficientTextures=True
If it is not there, add the line:
bUseEfficientTextures=True
Try it and let me know. It should be set to true.
